Strength or Serenity?  You can have both!

We are a nation of movers and shakers and we tend to go hard and fast, in work and in our work-outs.  There are a lot of awesome benefits to this….it can be energizing, invigorating and we get things done quicker.  Yet the downside can be exhaustion, fatigue and injury.   It’s up to us to find the optimal balance, both in our lifestyle and in our work-outs.

Strength training and cardio workouts are very important to keep us healthy for the long haul.  They keep our bodies strong and our heart healthy and they are terrific for weight management.  At Lift Yoga, we offer MORE than just yoga.  In this boutique studio setting, you will find experienced teachers to guide you safely through weight training classes.  You might choose a Barbell, Sculpt or Barre class, all using a variety of weights.  For cardio, try Tabata or Yoga HIITS, which will include interval training, all done safely but with a structure that will burn calories quickly.

The classes just mentioned are led by competitive body builder, Anissa Dearborn, who has won multiple awards and has been teaching for decades.  Everyone LOVES Anissa!  She will give you a phenomenal workout, all while educating you and making you laugh….a rare combination indeed!
