Coalition Food and Beverage
50 Canton St., Alpharetta, GA
Coalition Food and Beverage is serving an energetic vibe and chef-driven American cuisine in downtown Alpharetta’s Teasley Place, and Northside Woman recently took the opportunity to try the hot restaurant’s new "Pick Two" lunch menu. The feature offers two half-portioned soup, salad or sandwich selections, and is a great way to sample Coalition’s tasty menu items at a very competitive price point.
I had the pleasure of trying the tomato and onion soup with the chicken salad sandwich. Both items were delicious. The fire-roasted tomato and caramelized onion soup was a unique twist on traditional onion soup with melted gruyere cheese on top. If you don’t like onions, don’t let that steer you away from this soup. The onions were pureed perfectly, and I never tasted one! The chicken salad had big chunks of chicken, not too much mayonnaise and was served on a fresh milk bun.
My husband selected the CFBurger and the chopped salad. The “Pick Two” burger was served with one beef patty, instead of the two patties normally served on the standard menu. The salad was served sans chicken. He enjoyed both items and thought the portions sizes were more than enough for lunch.
To top it off, we sampled the chocolate cream pie, made with an Oreo crust and served with whipped cream, Only one word can describe it … amazing! And Chef Noah Bazarte made sure to come by and make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Take the time to check out Coalition's "Pick Two" for lunch. It's available Tuesday through Friday during lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for only $11.50.
